Pastor Alvin was born and raised in Hawaii. He has been married to his wife Charlotte for 23 years and together they have their daughter Avlin. He became a Christian in June 2006 and since gained more than 15 years of combined teaching and preaching ministry experience. Pastor Alvin was called to the Gospel Ministry at FSBCPH on October24, 2021, as the assistant pastor, and on February 12, 2023, he became our Lead Pastor. His vision for the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who are imitators of God, to the glory of God.
Only then can we truly carry out the mission of the church.

Mike Gayer Jr. was born and raised on the island of Oahu in Ewa Beach. He has been married to Erin Gayer for 21 years. They have six children, all of whom are homeschooled, with two that graduated in May 2025. Mike has a passion for playing worship, songwriting, sharing God’s Word, and spending quality time with his wife and children. Mike and Pastor Alvin are longtime friends who shared the gospel together on the streets of Waikiki in the early 2000s. In 2024, the Lord led Mike to serve alongside Pastor Alvin in a new capacity, ministering to the brethren at First Southern Baptist Church of Pearl Harbor. His favorite passage: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away." - Matthew 24:35
